About TJ Grimaldi

Entering into litigation — whether it is for personal injury, family law, criminal defense, or anything in between — is one of the most stressful things a person can do. TJ Grimali has made it his business to make it easier for his clients. 

TJ is proud to offer his clients the one-on-one support that they need — and deserve — as they go through difficult and complicated legal proceedings. Unlike other law firms that funnel clients through to supporting attorneys or paralegals, TJ leads every case that comes through his practice. 

TJ also has the support of his team and partnering law firm McIntyre Thanasides, so he has the resources to take on detailed and complex cases. No client is too small, and no case is too large. 

Representing Tampa Bay and Beyond

TJ Grimaldi is born and raised in Tampa Bay. His family goes back three generations, and his grandparents were among the founders of Ybor City. 

He started his education in Florida, attending Berkeley Preparatory School in Tampa and later, getting his degree in Economics from the University of Florida. TJ then left Florida to attend the New England School of Law in Boston, Massachusetts where he graduated on the dean’s list and earned his Juris Doctorate in 2005.

Law degree in hand, TJ returned to his roots to support the community he was raised in. 

He worked as an associate at the Law Office of Ralph E. Fernandez, P.A., where he was in charge of an open caseload of approximately seven hundred and fifty files. He later joined McIntyre Thanasides in August of 2011. He was brought on to create the divisions of Personal Injury and Family Law, as well as expand the Criminal Defense division.

TJ is now a partner at McIntyre Thanasides Law Firm and continues to work closely with his clients as he pursues his passion: helping underserved people get the strong representation and fair justice they deserve.
